Basically, post short snippet-reviews of movies that you've seen recently. I'll start.
Star Trek: Not a Trekkie myself, but it was a very good introduction to the series and an excellent movie in its own right. Recommended.
UP: All Pixar movies are made of awesome sauce and marshmallows. This one is no different. Very well-told, I know people who cried twice during this movie, and I can easily see why. It is, indeed, an immensely fun adventure and an awesome family movie. HIGHLY recommended.

As more of a Trekkie, I too would recommend Star Trek. It was very good and definitely deserves a sequel. I do hope, however, that klingons aren't made CGI in the next one if they appear in it.

See transformers: Revenge of the fallen. (spoilers alert) Despite the negative criticism being thrown at it, it's still a very awesome film that deserves better praise for what it does right. Giant intense robot fights? Check. Giant cannons built into the pyramids? Check. Awesome characters? Checkaroo. The audience even got really into the film, and were even cheering, clapping, and laughing right where it was needed. See it.

^I'll back cornbr3d up on this one. I've been a fan of the 'formers for ages. It was a darned good movie. Be prepared, though: there's a lot of crude/mistasteful humor, and there's a pair of characters in there that are... not PC, add to the crude humor and (IMO) generally get annoying. Despite that, it's got some good action, decent plot and some of the characters/jokes are still good.
