Well, the subject says it all.
If you don't know what it means, then you probably aren't a cuber. But I'll explain it anyway.
"Cubers", "Speed Cubers", "Speed Solvers", "Rubik's Solvers", all words for the same thing: people who solve the Rubik's cube. The more serious you are about it, the more competetive you are. You will try to get the fastest time possible.
So what are your best times [if any of you can do it]?
Mine? 55.98 seconds.

Nope. I personally don't do much of Rubik's Cubes.
On the other hand, I know a girl who's crazy good at it. She's probably the best mathematician I know (in the teenage range, at least), and has worked out all sorts of algorithms to solve the thing from any configuration. Usually we can randomize the cube, throw it to her, and she'll toss it back in a minute or two, completely solved. It's crazy.

I, too, know an insane mathematician. He can solve the cube in under a minute. I'm about 50-50 as far as being under a minute goes, usually checking in at about 59.6 seconds. Tell your friend to keep cubing!

I usually just cheat and use a screwdriver to pry it apart. D:
There is, though, someone who sat behind me in my physics class and just solved Rubik's Cubes the entire time. I think his best time was about 45, maybe 50 seconds.

I got pretty into it for a couple of months. I got my time down to about 1:20 consistently there for a while.
