You are moving at a nice rate, yes. Seems like you're getting nice and philosophical, too. It's like this old conundrum I heard of (probably Greek): A man spends his entire life inside of a cave, completely unaware that there is an outside world. He is completely content. Do you reveal to him the rest of the world, possibly overbearing him with shock but also introducing him to both life's greater pleasures and hardships? Or do you allow him to live his life as he is?
Looks like authors typically take the non-involvement method, but has another reason. Personally, I can think of three off the top of my head, but we'll see which one MC gives before I talk about it any further.
I like how Link is as easily fascinated by our aircraft as we are by Hyrulian fantasy. Then again, modern aircraft can get to be pretty sweet.
Keep on doin' what you do best.

Thanks, Blivsey. I always appreciate your posts. And I never thought of comparing the Author Situation to the Parable of the Cave before (Plato's, I think), but it makes complete and utter sense! Man. That's gotta come up in the discussion sometime. Some of MC's reasons are deep and profound, some of them rather silly. NEW COMIC! 454: Taking OffI'm in college now! And I'm making comics! I've proven the two are not mutually exclusive! Enjoy! Hoping to be back soon, ~MC PS: Don't talk to me about airplanes.

...I think I may be able to forgive airplanes for their sins. Maybe. We'll see what happens when Trogdor gets involved. Lo, I bring you a comic that takes place entirely INSIDE an airplane! In flight! The apple is on the other metaphor now! Aha! 455: Midair MusingsEnjoy. Sorry about the slowdown. Hope this one sates you for a while, and I look forward to bringing you more comics with airplanes in them. ...Maybe. If they cooperate. Cheers, ~MC
